I recently found the first couple of episodes of Blake's 7.

How come no one told me about this show? On the strength of the first 3 episodes, it made buy series 1. This is unheard of from me, I normally watch at the very least an entire season of a tv show before deciding whether or not to buy a DVD.

You're in for a treat. Avon is a fantastic character. I'll not say more otherwise I'll spoil it.

There have been rumours about the people behind Life on Mars & Ashes to Ashes remaking it.
